Roger Federer and Nadal

Nadal has been completed, he won the U.S. Open record in Grand Slam competition victory. However, a fellow tennis player, Roger Federer is still considered better.Nadal has won two weeks ago defeated Novak Djokovic in the U.S. Open. This success completed, because the Spaniard has won the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon.

But in the eyes of the same tennis player, Nadal has not the same as Federer. Its size is 16 Roger Federer won the Grand Slam, while Nadal only won nine times.”Rafa in Spain may be the best tennis player in history, but in the world, today, maybe it belongs to Roger Federer, because he won the Grand Slam titles, and more,” said Nadal compatriot Ferrer at Yahoosports.

“He (Nadal) has won many Grand Slams, so many titles, but for me Federer is still the best,” said peteni Soderling of Sweden agreed to Ferrer. The same view was expressed Berdych. “To be a top tennis player won Grand Slam titles, Nadal will still need some. So I think it is still far away, said:” The world tennis rankings VII.

But they also agree that Federer younger than 5 years of age (24 years old Nadal, Federer 29), and then have the opportunity to Nadal, Federer’s record over the past Wintour remains open.”Benitez is still very young. If he’s healthy, if his playing time, he may (through). I think he had the opportunity to become the best tennis player in history, said:” Robin Soderling on his behalf colleagues

7), 4-6, 7-6 (3), 2-6, 6-2 in a classic final to claim his fifth Wimbledon win in a row on Sunday.

The current world number one prevailed after 3 hours and 45 minutes to emulate the feat of Swedish legend Bjorn Borg, who watched the game from the royal box.

After the third longest men's singles final in the tournament's history, Federer knelt down before collapsing on turf, both hands on his face. When he managed to get up to his feet, 14,000 spectators in a packed Centre Court saw his eyes shining with tears of relief.

"Each one is special. To play a champion like Rafa in the final it means even more and equaling Bjorn as well," the Swiss said.

"He (Nadal) is a fantastic player and is going to be around for so much longer so I am happy with every one I get now before he takes them all.

"It was such a close match, I told Rafa at the net 'you deserved it as well' but I was the lucky one today," he added.

Nadal pushed the four-time defending champion all the way, coming back twice from a set down, but was still denied a Grand Slam title outside Roland Garros in a replay of last year's final.

Federer started aggressive with a 3-0 lead, but Nadal, seeded second, broke back in the fifth game and then held serve to level 3-3.

The next games went with serve to 6-6, forcing a tiebreak which saw Ferderer win 9-7.

The second set proved equally tense at 4-4 until Nadal held his serve to 5-4 and then broke in a crucial 10th game.

While another tiebreak win saw Ferderer lead 2-1 overall, Nadal held his nerve and presented a strong comeback, racing to 4-0 up before finally taking the fourth set 6-2.

But the Spaniard squandered two break points and lost two serves in the rubber as Federer made it 6-2 with an easy smash at the net, securing an 11th grand slam title in his career.

The victory brought Federer's head-to-head records with Nadal to 8 to 5 in favor of the Spaniard with Ferderer winning four of the last six meetings though.

"Right now it feels disappointing because I had good chances. These first moments, especially after you lose in the fifth set, are not easy," Nadal said.

"Today was tough for me but at the same time it's good for me to be playing at a similar level to the best in the world on grass.

"He (Federer) is very close to being the greatest player of all time, his tennis is unbelievable.

"But I am a better player than last year... maybe not as good as Roger right now because he has 11 Slams, me three. But I am young. I am improving every season," said the 21-year-old.

Nadal lifted all his three Grand Slam trophies in Roland Garros although he reached Wimbledon finals twice in a row.

Roger Federer is arguably the greatest tennis player of all time.

Currently he owns 16 grand slam titles, the most in the history of the sport. He has also completed the career grand slam by winning the illusive French Open.

Not only is Roger Federer probably the best tennis player ever, but he is adored by fans all over the world and liked and respected by his peers.

A true ambassador for the game, he does not only care about his own accomplishments, but also continues to make tennis a popular sport.

As a tennis fan I feel privilaged to see this genius and popular human being play in my lifetime.
